Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences

For people who like working with people, careers in the health care sector are rewarding and challenging. You'll be providing an essential service that meets very real and immediate needs.

Programs in the Faculty of Health Sciences combine strong theoretical education and hands-on application, directly preparing you for your chosen health care career. Our graduates have an excellent reputation.

Some of our programs are unique. We are the only public college in BC that offers educational programs for Dispensing Opticians and Health Information Management professionals. Our Access I and Access II Nursing Programs enable Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses to grain credit for their prior education and experience.

All of our programs continually evolve to meet the current demands of the health care system. You'll learn under the instruction of caring professionals in specialized facilities that let you practice what you learn in the classroom.

We also offer a significant number of Continuing Education programs and contract training courses to help health science professionals keep on top of the latest developments in their field.
