Introduction
Mission Statement
"We are dedicated to providing high-quality continuing education, training and services for people and organizations."
Courses and Certificate Programs
Health courses, programs and customized training are designed to meet learning needs identified by professionals, paraprofessionals, health care workers and employers. Look for courses in nursing, mental health, psychiatric nursing, home support/resident care, dental assisting, community mental health, health information services and opticianry.
Certificate programs are a cluster of courses with learning outcomes and evaluative components. A minimum grade of 60 percent is required in each course. A Douglas College Continuing Education Certificate is issued upon successful completion. Certificate courses include learning outcomes and evaluative components. Courses may ladder or act as prerequisites to other education courses and programs.
