Course Cancellations

Early registration is recommended for all courses as class sizes are limited.  Some classes may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior if there is insufficient enrollment.  If this happens, alternative courses will be offered to those students.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available to persons who meet the following criteria:

  1. Full refunds will be issued if the College cancels a course for any reason.
  2. Refunds are available to persons who withdraw from a course and request a refund from Continuing Education three working days prior to the start date of any course.  Please Note: a $15 processing fee will be charged.
  3. A full refund will be given to those who have a premature birth, experience a miscarriage, or have other medical complications.  In such cases Douglas College must be notified within four months to be eligible for a refund.
  4. In the event of course disruptions beyond control of Douglas College resulting in course cancellation, fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis depending on the number of classes scheduled before the disruption began.

Parking at Douglas College

Pay parking is available at the New Westminster Campus and the Coquitlam David Lam Campus.  Please bring your course registration receipt to receive a reduced parking rate.

Room Locations for Continuing Education Courses at Douglas College

Room numbers for courses at the New Westminster Campus are posted on the door of the Registrars Office, Room 2700 on the first day of class only.  The Registrars Office is located on the Concourse, 2nd level, across from the Information/Security kiosk.  Room numbers for courses at the Coquitlam David Lam Campus are posted beside the Information/Security kiosk at main building.
