Note: Complete a separate loan application for Jan - Apr

Fee Deferrals:

Fee deferrals are not automatic and students need to apply if they need one. A fee deferral form can be faxed or mailed to you. Call the Financial Aid Office at UFV at 1-604-864-4601, if you need one.

Bursaries and Awards:

Apply online through your MyUFV. Bursary applications are available each semester

Tips for applying for Bursaries:

Students apply for bursaries per semester.  Bursary amounts range in value, with a maximum of $1,000 per semester - $3,000 maximum per academic year (September-August).

Fall Applications: Accepted between September 30 to October 30.
Winter Applications: Accepted between January 30 to February 28.
Summer Applications: Accepted between May 30 to June 30.

NOTE: Applications will be processed after deadline.

Bursary funds are limited.  Apply early.

HOW TO APPLY: The Bursary Application is available on-line at MyUFV.  Log into MyUFV, click on Student Information, click on Student Services, then the tab for Financial Aid.

Emergency Funding: If you have a financial crisis due to unexpected expenses or loss of income or delays in your funding, you will need to arrange for an interview over the phone to explain your situation to a financial aid advisor at UFV and the application can be either mailed or faxed to you. Call 1-604-864-4601 to arrange an appointment.

• Pick up blank forms for your student loan including reassessment forms, appeal forms or interest-free status forms.
• Ask us to fax your completed forms to UFV.
